Great show, & a great, nice sized crowd. We were treated to a new song.. I didn't get the full title, but I know "Walk" is in it somewhere. I thought they did a great job performing it live for the 1st time, although I'm sure Darcie would disagree.. .. I can hear her now "We suck, I suck..etc..etc.." LOL The full band version of Mama just sounds better and better as time goes on. Wow, what a GREAT song. For some reason, I can REALLY imagine that one being played on VH1 one day. Baitley playing that nice, sweet sounding slide guitar..hmm.. On another note.. got to hear Darcie sing Patty's "Christina" for the 1st time in quite awhile. It shocked me so much that i jumped out of my chair, and rushed to the front of the stage.. just to minimize the sounds of all the "loud-mouthed yaps" that find it necessary to talk while someone is playing such great music. Every time Darcie gets done doing a song like that, I find myself craving a short solo set (maybe 2 or 3 songs??) :-) :-) (hint, hint) *Subliminal Message Inserted into Darcie's brain* All in all, what a great night.. it even included a great version of Ryan singing "Song For The Dumped" & almost destroying his keyboard in the process. Anyway.. as always, it was nice to enjoy the company of Wayne, Diane, Tim, and my co-worker's sister Sara. It's always cool to enjoy the fun with some other true fans. Sara said "it's so great seeing them in places like this, when you know in 2 years they'll be playing in stadiums". I don't know about stadiums (although it would be nice for the $$$ for everyone), but I'd be content seeing them headlining places like the Tower Theatre (or something similar) in 2 years. :-) God, I HATE those stadium shows unless you're right up front. Speaking of the Tower Theatre.. who knew the Stones & Sheryl Crow were playing there in a few weeks? Tickets are $52.. DAMN. I would have been there in a second had I known tix were not like $200!!!
