I'm truly addicted to "Sweet Perfume", and didn't quite no why, until this morning. I just received, from a cousin, a video of my grandfather's old 8mm home movies. Talk about a plethora of family memories. As there is no sound on the video, I put on "Sweet Perfume". "Petals of a Daisy" came on just as a segment showing myself, as a very small child and my father. Now I'm not known for being very forthcoming with emotions, however, the tears started to fall and I found myself sobbing, remembering, just remembering. I must say I feel as though I've had an epiphany, of sorts. I can finally (I hope) let go of some of the anger I felt all these years toward my father. Try for forgiveness. Anyway, I just had to let this out, which for those who may know me and read this, know, it ain't easy!! Thanks for listening.
