NEWS FLASH: 3/25 PARADISE SHOW w/ JESS KLEIN MOVED TO SANDERS THEATER!!! read on for a dramatic tale about the paradise show, packed with thrills, spills, and heroic death-defying acts…OR skip to the end for DETAILS. once upon a time there we were, jess klein and I, all set to play the paradise on march 25 with much merriment and 600 of our nearest & dearest…WHEN SUDDENLY, (soundtrack turns tense), a band of shady lawyers of questionable intent leaped from the underbrush and with one blow of their fountain pens SLEW our unsuspecting little show by ordering the paradise to close its doors!! calamity!! whatever were these folk chicks to do? bands had been rehearsed, audience recruited, hype hyped. it looked like a dark day indeed…(soundtrack turns melancholy) BUT THEN (soundtrack turns hopeful) from over the hills galloped a small but determined troop of Folk Avengers bearing tidings of great joy, namely that SANDERS THEATER, one of the remaining strongholds of the light side of the Force, was available to house our humble and much-beleaguered show!! (soundtrack turns triumphant) And there was much feasting and rejoicing in the land, and everyone lived happily ever after except the lawyers, who slunk back to their dens to plan their next dastardly deeds... yes folks, it is true: our March 25 show has been moved to Harvard Square’s Sanders Theater: an absolutely beautiful place, also a little bit, shall we say, enormous? usually this is a venue reserved for somewhat larger Potatoes than us, but now that Fate has landed us there we’re hoping to really blow the roof off! so we’ve enlisted our friend Lori McKenna to come play a set too and make it even more of an event, and now all we need is YOU. this is an incredible place to play and hear music and just a great opportunity for us to create a really special show. so here’s the details, get those pens and pencils ready: ******************************************************** Three full separate sets with special guests and some songs together LORI MCKENNA KRIS DELMHORST JESS KLEIN *Saturday March 3/25 7:30pm at Sanders Theater Harvard University (Harvard Sq.)
