What a warm feeling coming down from Canada because....

Justin Trudeau won!!!!

I'm EXUBERANT!!!!!!!!

I highly recommend his mother's book, Changing My Mind by Margaret Trudeau. It
gives wonderful accounts of her life with Pierre and their three sons.  They
are very humble people.  She was close friends with Teddy Kennedy.

OK the day cannot get any better now!!! CBS this morning just played Chelsea
morning...Joni singing it!!!!  They were talking about Chelsea Clinton!!!  I
hope we don't have to wait until she grows up for the USA to have a woman
president! Go Hillary!!!!!

I think Joni is going to love whatever we send her.  I remember the
first JMDL birthday card that was sent in around 1997 was a collage of
all of our faces.  When I met at the '99 art exhibit, the first thing
she exclaimed when I said I was in the JMDL, was "Oh you (the JMDL
group) did the cookbook!  Oh I just LOVED it - so clever and creative.
Which recipes did you put in?!" She just kept raving about it and I
recall there was some naysayers here who thought the cookbook was a
silly idea - ha!  So she does like to hear from us and appreciates the
stuff we send her.

Welcome back to Pat (Mags) and Suze!  I didn't know you were gone -
thought just lurking!
