The exhibit included photos and memorabilia of the twice-inducted Nash. For those not in the vicinity of Cleveland, the Cleveland paper has a very nice article about the exhibit which includes a lovely painting by Joni of a sleeping Nash. It's the seventh photo in the article. http://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2015/10/graham_nash_hall_of_famer_puts.html There are some other photos at the Rock and Roll HOF web site including one of Nash standing in front of the obscured Joni portrait. https://rockhall.com/exhibits/graham-nash-touching-the-flame-exhibit-rock-hall/ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2015 20:23:50 +0100 From: Jamie Zubairi home Subject: Re: JM's birthday The idea would be a video or photo montage of faces or groups of faces (if people live close to each other) rather than a card with just words. The idea being, like the end of Spartacus, where Kirk Douglas is faced with a sea of people who support him and are on his side. Sometimes people forget what they mean to others. That's what the faces do, they make the birthday wishes real. Rather than her opening a card and it's like Being John Malkovich where is just a sea of John Malkovich's face repeated. Quite disturbing! Then at least Joni has the option of playing it through (or not, if she's bored of it after 30 seconds!) , rather than limiting her experience of something that could be special. If it's done well, it could tell its own story. I like the idea of the landscapes too. Either painted (hers) or photos of what means special to us (and you didn't mind it being slightly edited to unify the video) . It's all possible and wouldn't (in theory) need much editing. Just a little storyboarding. And could all be under 5 minutes (should be!). This could be done in a variety of ways. Just photos Photos with quotes on them Photos with sound clips Photos, videos and sound clips. I'm up for it but I'll go with the group decision Jamie Zubairi Actor, Artist, Voiceover, Photographer ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2015 13:32:45 -0500 From: lcs4bike@yahoo.com Subject: Re: Joni Birthday Jamie wrote: In fact would a video of our faces be better? We could send the private link to someone who knows Joni personally and they can show it to her on their iphones/iPads (other smartphone/tablet devices are available). I wouldn't mind spearheading the video job.... but happy to provide a headshot Hi Jamie! Awesome!!! It would be easy for most of us to use our phones, iPads, or computers to take a short video clip message (limited to 15 seconds perhaps?) or a snapshot of a beautiful place with a typed message in the snapshot saying thank you to Joni from so and so in whatever city and email it to you. I'm game! Just say the word! Love, Laura Sent from my iPhone ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Oct 2015 17:17:52 +0000 From: "Susan E.
