Not sure it is enough as Freda and I just eat 6 number #2 crabs and 2 lbs of shrimp and a loaf of french bread for dinner.... On Sep 1, 2015, at 10:06 PM, Steve Dulson wrote: Mr Paz! I like all the elements she has been talking about but it sounds like you need to circle the wagons with her and pull it all together. I hope my friend Brad on the left coast can help you with the pressing as he is so close to you shipping will be much less for you. We will miss you esp on the late night jams. NO ONE can hang like you can with a guitar, bass, flute, vox, or whatever is thrown at you. Ok lets do Bette MIdlers version of Ozzy doing Joni at Alice Coopers house...Nekked in the duck pond... But I digress. Hopefully there is NO duck pond at BobFest Love Paz On Sep 1, 2015, at 8:39 PM, Victor Johnson wrote: Just to give you an update...going to the studio this Sunday to do the mastering and then I will be sending it off to be manufactured in the next couple of weeks! Freda Paz is doing the layout and graphic design for me so we'll be working hard to put it together and send it off. These songs are sounding phenomenal. I will let you know when it is up and available for purchase. Hope everyone has a great time at Bobfest! I'll be performing as well this Saturday at 3pm Pacific time here in Bend so at least we'll probably be playing some music at the same time. I'll be sure to do a Joni tune or two. Victor in Bend NP: "Black Sun" from Beautiful Things (a song written for the victims of the AME Emanuel Church shooting in Charleston). ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 1 Sep 2015 20:58:07 -0700 From: Victor Subject: Re: Beautiful Things update (NJC) Haha...it figures there would be a Jonifest in the South, once I moved out west. I was always wishing I could experience all the cool stuff that happens out here, so now something to miss back home. Well hopefully someone will do at least one Black Sabbath cover at a late night jam...or maybe a Phish song (Jahida?) On "Beautiful Things" you will definitely hear the progressive rock/edgier influence, especially on the leadoff track. It's as if someone took a microscope and changed the magnification from 10x to 100x. There is so much depth and sonically, just a vast range of different sounds and rhythms. Really chomping at the bits to get this out there. Everyone have a blast at the fest! Maybe we can cook something up for the PNW. Victor in Bend PS. I don't remember a pond near Bob's house.
