What a gift this album is to me! Thank you Joni!!! It is so rich! I love the way BYT starts out. The saxophones and the accordions...it is all so incredibly brilliant and unique just like Joni. I absolutely love Malka and can see why Joni or anyone would be glad to have her as a friend. I feel very heartened that so many folk here have enjoyed the video. It was extraordinary that Malka made the trip to the UK. I certainly would never have imagined it when I submitted my abstract. I still find it extraordinary that my paper started with that Joni quote that mentions Malka and the fact that she was in the room when I delivered the paper........my moth still falls open when I think about it. But then who on this list hasn't experienced something extraordinary concerning Joni and her music? Magical.
