Malka Hi, i'm Kenney & i'm new here. i was glad to hear Joni was walking & talking after a news item about David Crosby stating she wasn't. i listened to a live The Dry Cleaner from Des Moines on Her site, then saw/listened to a live A Case of You.B i'd mistakingly thought song was about someone else, but commentary stated it is about Willie.B i posted comment to the vid! i got 'A Tribute to Joni Mitchell' & first listenings didn't like real well, and loved James Taylor's version of River.B i'd felt someone arranged the songs weakest to strongest with JT being #1, k.d. lang's Help Me #2, etc.B So last night i listened to it backwards, skipping Bjorn's Boho Zone & playing it last.B i thought that order (12 => 3, 1, 2) made the lesser interpretations sound better, and i'm liking the whole CD better.B Prince & Emmylou Harris & Annie Lennox really shine, & of course Herbie Hancock. !!!! happy 4th !!!!
