I imagine she is formulating a plan of escape. I hope she's not exposed to glaring artificial lights . I hope she can rest her eyes on stars trees and birds. I hope it rains soon. I hope she can go outside and lie on the grass of she wants to. I hope she can take her meals in the company of whom she pleases. I hope people aren't constantly asking her how she is. Unless the answers are clearly multiple choice. She might just get annoyed. And if she's agitated and distressed make sure that she's not been giving anti-psychotics. They would freak her out, make it impossible to sleep, and she will surely go mad. It is very important that she not be given any. It is my wish that her best friend make sure about this. I hope someone is bringing her food she likes. And money to spend at the cafeteria. Even bring her a smartphone so that she can surf the internet and listen to all the free music. She could also read jmdl and may even start contributing in alias. I hope she can see the moon at her window. I hope that she can treasure that people love her from afar, even if she already knows it will all evaporate up close. It is vital to know that she is somewhere... Things may suddenly come right. The last word on JoniMitchell.com is April 28 ... Eons ago as far as I'm concerned. Still continuing to pray for her and hope that she is comfortable. Joni did have a phone (I think it was an I-phone) at the tribute thing here in Toronto a few years ago, when she did her Times Talk. She said she uses it only to take pictures, and she took one of the audience. Maybe some of us are still in her phone (heh heh.) 2nd photo down (you can see some of us in the audience if you have a good eye. I can see Patti Parlette there in the front row): https://luminatofestival.com/blogs/jorn-blog/2013/happy-birthday-joni-jorn/ - ----- Original Message ----- From: Anita G To: ingrid lochrenberg Cc: "joni-digest@smoe.org" Sent: Saturday, June 13, 2015 10:58 AM Subject: Re: Perseverance Ingrid, I love all these hopes you have for Joni. "Good air good water good earth" seems to encapsulate some of your wishes for her. Do you think she might ever want a smartphone though? Will she ever want to surf the internet? My only issue with your wishes is that Love might evaporate up close. Not always! Unevaporated Love coming your way :~) and Joni is always somewhere, even if it is only in your heart, Anita x On 13 June 2015 at 15:29, ingrid lochrenberg wrote: > I wonder if Joni is making strides at learning how to speak, and move > about. I saved this picture on my Facebook page and Patti is circled in pink and the other red circle shows me and Jody Johnson. I can't figure out how to make one FB picture public, so I'll email it to you. - ----- Original Message ----- From: Anita G To: Catherine McKay Cc: ingrid lochrenberg ; "joni-digest@smoe.org" Sent: Saturday, June 13, 2015 12:07 PM Subject: Re: Perseverance 2nd photo down (you can see some of us in the audience if you have a good eye. Give me a clue. And gosh how I remember that wonderful Luminato stuff you sent. How I would have loved to have been there for that one!
