Subject: Twisted

If it wasn't for Joni, I never would have known of the earlier version
or LH&R.  Annie Ross and Jon Hendricks did a show here in L.A. at the
old Catalina Bar & Grill in 1999.  It was a very small room and I had a
front row table.  They were fantastic and I spoke with both of them
after the show.  Annie Ross raved on and on about Joni, how much they
loved her and how appreciative they were that she brought "Twisted" to
new audiences.  Jon Hendricks was also so enthusiastic to talk about
Joni and wanted to know everything that was going on with her.  I
mentioned that the JMDL group had a whole bunch of live, rare and
unrecorded Joni stuff and he immediately wrote down his address and
asked me to please send him some of it!  I passed his address on to our
king of all archives with the message ;-)
