I have been doing math all day today running a business. Then I read about this tragedy, and the math didn't add up. Why didn't anybody stop this murderer after he shot the first person? Didn't anybody have any training in self-defense? Wasn't anybody armed to defend themselves? Where were the police? Why did this guy have time to go to three different places to kill people? Why are people sitting ducks like this? My niece is going to the University of California at Santa Barbara this Fall so this really struck home as well as thinking of Kate and Jeff.
