[Victor Johnson Subject: Another top 20 songwriter list... Joni comes in at #8. Definitely agree with a lot of their choices (Tom Waits, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Paul Simon, WIllie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Dylan...). Not really sure about Robert Johnson as there's so little material from him...though he was certainly revolutionary and groundbreaking for his time. I would have included Nick Drake.
