Hi beautiful joni people, I am here. My vocabulary word for today is ecology. What I wrote on the green chalk board: Ecology is the study of the detrimental effects of human, "modern civilization" on the environment. . . . with a view toward reversal through prevention and conservation (then I threw in some talk about remediation and rebuilding ALL OF IT IS IMPORTANT or none of it is and how I care about all the fishes in the deep blue sea and all the animals, yeah and the humans and the wetlands, why would they think they could move wetlands? and the oceans and air and well they were done listening after that. They are making their "green inspiration" posters! Well, we could start a thread on all the references to ecology and preservation that joni sings all the earth caring things. . . . we've got to get ourselves back to the garden stardust/golden I care when I was 13 I have a friend named Kelly who was 11 and we had this button that said "I care." it was smaller than a nickel and we only had one. It was back and white and we used to share it. . one week she would wear it and one week I would wear it. we cared we still care . . ps.
