You can refer to Citizen Kane, Rhapsody In Blue, The Mona Lisa, Gone With The Wind, The Sistine Chapel, To Kill A Mockingbird as masterworks and nobody would bat an eye because they are recognized as such over time. I think it dilutes the meaning of the word to put CMIARS in that category.
