Wow, I missed this one on Letterman.  It is really awesome and fantastic
that she had the orchestra on stage with her, too.  

When I played the CD for my mom, she said "well, wow, she has finally
learned how to sing."  I was surprised and said she'd lost most of her
old voice.  My mom said "I don't care, that is real singing!"  The older
I get, the more I see her point.  Singing is about more than "bows and
flows."

I saw the concert at the Greek in L.A. with about 30 of the JMDLers.  It
was magical and she was in great voice and energy.  The added cuts of my
two favorite songs from FTR put me over the moon.
