Laura, I enjoyed your post. It was poetic, beautifully written.

A friend once said that he objects to being called a fan.  Since "fan" is a variant of "fanatic" it implied that his appreciation was unhealthy. It isn't. He said he has just the RIGHT amount of appreciation.
