The party was an after-party at Massey Hall that fellow listers Sue Tierney, Patti Parlette and Jodie Johnston managed to get into, in the hope that Joni would show. Unfortunately (but perhaps predictably), Joni didn't show. We did get to meet some of the band members and Rufus Wainwright and some of the other performers at the Massey Hall tribute were there, but left before we could talk to them. I do know from overhearing Rufus W that Joni was somewhere upstairs hiding out. I guess if I were really pushy, I could have tried to get into that, but I don't believe in being obnoxious in that way. (I am very obnoxious in other ways, though.) Some of the other photos, where she's being interviewed and wearing what looks like a parachute suit (for lack of better words) are from an interview the night before with Brian Blade and Jon Pareles of the New York Times. I love how animated she was there. I guess I should label the photos. It looks like I just uploaded them and then "forgot" to say who was who in many cases (typical me - start something but don't complete it!) I am so sorry to hear that you lost your wife.
