I hope that the book doesn't disappoint. Some folks here on the list count him as a friend. 

Ultimately, i think the book is one person's take. Too bad he didn't incorporate the JMDL's riches, share the credit, and act as a curator. 

I hope that, when we are all gone, the tunings pages will live on in some kind of research library in LA or Saskatoon.  Preferably both.
