I think you're right Mary. It started off as the Joni Cafe, I think.   I 
didn't join until 1997, and didn't post until 1998. I did this all because of  
my best friend David Mingus, who left this world a few years ago. I was a  
Joni fan, but David worshipped her.  He didn't have a computer back then. I  
rarely post now, but keep in touch with all my Joni friends.  I look  
forward to BOBFEST!

Who knows why  we remember the things we do?  But my recollection, as one 
who was nearly  (but not quite) there from Day 1, is that the first post set 
sail into the  ether on August 25, 1996, about three weeks before I first 
subscribed.   That would make the list about to enter its last teen year this  
August.

And, re: Joni's video:  yes, my heart does dare to  lift!
