Same here, although I've generally limited my "no pay" downloads to music I'd purchased as a CD but for some reason I no longer own, or the purchase was restricted to vinyl or cassette. I don't see much difference between that and all of the vinyl-to-cassette recording that most of us did "back in the day" (or the whatever-to-CD recording that people still do today). I can remember being a'skeerd back then that I'd get caught but it was obvious that certain types of cassettes were designed for recording music. How many of us made tapes of various songs or entire albums for a friend or a lover (or for someone we hoped would become a lover)? Probably 99% of the people on this list did that at one time or another. Some still do it, I'm sure. New music or music I never purchased before is another matter. I'll pay for that.
