You gonna pile up those many words? Paul Simon tried it and I went Yikes!" > Does anyone know what she was getting at? No, but I will guess: >The boy in the Bubble And the baby With the baboon heart>> (Or) >Staccato signals Of constant information A loose affiliation Of millionaires And billionaires> The other thing is that Joni usually talks a bunch of smack. Implying that Paul (freakin') Simon was imitating ANYONE is ridiculous on the face of it. Maybe he was influenced by Phil and Don at first, but after that, he pretty much co-invented world music. She also once implied that Don Ho's playing was influenced by Joni. ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2014 #2139 ****************************** ------- To post messages to the list,sendtojoni@smoe.org.
