Its so high-octane, a true spectacle. My sis lives in Nashville and they mostly like country music. I wonder how much overlap there is from Joni people and country. Theres no matching Jonis complex imagery and metaphor and story telling qualities, but I do enjoy a simpler country song sometimes. Not "Tequila Makes her Clothes Come Off" or "All My Horses Like Beer", etc. Not a fan of Toby Keith. But Chris Young has some good songs ("Voices"), Keith Urban ("Making Memories of Us"), Brooks and Dunn can really belt out "My Maria" a great karaoke song and Martina McBride has a great voice. It was great to see Randy Travis. "Storms of Life" was a great album.
