Maybe we were better off. This year, TMZ gave us a glimpse that we were not really entitled to. The news raised stress but now we've no avenue to resolve that stress. There might have been a dozen health scares in the past, but we were oblivious, and stress-free. Ignorance was bliss. Thinking aloud, Jim L'Hommedieu ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 04 Apr 2015 00:58:18 -0300 From: Miguel Arrondo Subject: Fear not for Joni Hello, friends. Trying to catch all the possible news on Joni Mitchell4s health condition, but there are so scarce. And in the process, regaining the habit of reading these mails os yours... Stories like that of Steve Danielson are really amazing, I honestly envy you, man Found this, too, in the web: "I saw Joni sitting at a Coffee shop on Hornby, sitting outside, smoking like a bog fire. I barely recognized her. Her hair and the sad cast of her face, was haunting." Not so encouraging... My humble way of managing this situation: have no fear for Joni, she4s above health troubles or even the inevitable end we all must face. Her words and music will be sounding in this world long after we4re all gone and forgotten. She will not. The last two days, I just try to play her songs and think about those lyrics that really made a difference in my life. I hope she gets well soon, but it`s not her I fear for. She4s inmortal. She4ll live for ever. Best wishes for Joni and for all of you, big bunch of unknown-but-close-to-me people, scattered around the globe.
