Knowing her aversion to western medicine, this must all be a trial for Joni. 
But she's tough.  She's endured a lot in her life and I am of the opinion 
that she has a core made out of solid steel.  I don't believe she's done 
with life yet.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it until proven wrong.

That's how I feel. Given that Joni's parents lived to be in their late 90's (I
believe), heres hoping Joni is around at least 30 more years, whether shes

It is a bump in the road Michael. Do we not know someone that has had surgical procedures, especially at 71?  They've recovered fine. My mom is 91,and has more surgeries than anyone. She and Joni will be fine, but good vibes, thoughts, and prayers do help.
