I've was listening to Turbulent Indigo in the car earlier in the week (today was Court of the Crimson King!) but most mornings I try to play a couple of songs before I go to work ... Right now I'm in FFCGAC practicing for my next instructional video for I Don't Know Where I Stand ... Incredibly beautiful song ... I like what you said Jeff about Joni playing an embryonic version of Passion Play ... I heard an old cafe concert where Joni presented IDKWIS as a new song she just wrote while she was touring in The Carolinas. She warns the audience that there is a trumpet solo in the song. She said, "I mention this so when I get to that part you don't look at each other and say 'what is she doing?'" What she is doing is presenting a concerto for trumpet and guitar!
