Hearing the sounds and the rhythm that seems to change lets one imagine this overwhelming presence of rain....and the interlude of spending a night with someone because of it. I like your voice seeming to communicate and talk to and be with this person and while reflecting on things breaking into a more individual expression....carried away with the tune. I like the feeling that this rain is a balm to the soul and that is the essence of night.....the person and the activities of the night is a mere keeping up with this insistent rain that won't leave your brain alone! Nowadays, as in listening to this song I realise how rhytm can free up ones thoughts and bring a feeling of going off on tangents and and unexpected paths in ones imagination and I suppose that it's jazz that affords one the opportunity of accentuation the notes at different and unexpected places. (I have never been sure what jazz is.) It's incredible how music brings to mind a different structure of experience. Thankyou for your song that takes one somewhere else. ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2014 #1770 ****************************** ------- To post messages to the list,sendtojoni@smoe.org.
