My BS detector is ringing. There seem to be too many references to comparisons that Joni herself has drawn which seem like thinly veiled research, and rehashed contextualization. I smell a faint odor of sycophancy: "Oh Joni, you're so much like Pablo and Miles. Truly I understand everything about you." I will bet that there's a paragraph dedicated to Beethoven that didn't make the cut. Maybe I'm the cantankerous one? I should be appreciative that someone found the venue and the words to illuminate and educate about this project and promote it this well.
