It is a journey of the many forms of love, love lost and the lack of love, that Joni has written about. Remind ourselves to get back to love. I still haven't heard the fourth disc. And I have that joy to come when I can spend some time alone with it and really appreciate the music, Buon Natale Fabio On Wednesday, December 24, 2014, Fabio Cocchi wrote: > Hello everybody ! Certainly her Disney celebrity allows her some substantial production (note the size of her live on TV orchestra, and the lushness of the arrangement which is probably the same as on her album). I think it is still sad enough (especially in the cinematic strings) but has enough of the holiday sparkle to cut through in the shopping malls (aural cliches like sleigh bells). It will occupy the same playlists as "Same Old Lang Syne." I agree with Betsy that the number of young fans now exposed to this song is substantial (as might be the deposits into the Bank of Joni). That's really been the reason for my lack of opposition to the whole Taylor Swift thing. You can read more here: http://peaceandhealthblog.com/2014/12/24/arms-trade-treaty-enters-into-force-offers-hope-for-health-human-rights-peace/ [1] And earlier in December, a small but significant step was made toward the abolition of nuclear weapons. There's more about that here: http://peaceandhealthblog.com/2014/12/10/austria-ban/ [2] (although I think you probably need a bit more background to understand the significance). There are people in this world who are truly working for peace. I'm so proud that my husband is one of them. lots of love, Anne Links: - ------ [1] http://peaceandhealthblog.com/2014/12/24/arms-trade-treaty-enters-into-force-offers-hope-for-health-human-rights-peace/ [2] http://peaceandhealthblog.com/2014/12/10/austria-ban/ ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Dec 2014 22:18:32 +0000 From: Anita Gabrielle Subject: Re: Joni Christmas Gift I have to say I have totally loved this box set. So unexpected and hearing the unusual ordering. The remixes from NRH are fabulous, with Joni's guitar sounding much higher in the mix (well, to my ears) and I think it was Sue mentioned the Borderline mix......yes, let's toast talent, Fabio!
