[Anita Gabrielle Subject: Which Joni song has been a life changer (if any)? I was reading Malka Marom's super book recently and she says that after hearing "I Had A King" she left her husband. I just wondered if anyone on JMDL had a similar life changer. I think there are several songs of Joni that have been life changing for me in terms of ideas and insights, but one that actually affected what I did was "Trouble Child" which helped me to realise that feeling isolated was part of the human condition: "Why does it come as such a shock To know you really have no-one. Only a river of changing faces Looking for an ocean" I was fairly reliant on antidepressants at the time and I started to move into looking at more alternative ways of managing my feelings. It remained a long haul, but it started to change my thinking. Anyone else had anything similar?
