I regret sending that post. I was wondering a bit why she was picking on A Horse with No Name after all these years, and then I guess wondering what else from early 70's AM radio she had a problem with. People used to confuse Seals and Crofts with CSN and of couse lots of people thought AHWNN was by Neil. I wonder how many people bought Harvest thinking AHWNN was on it. I would love to see her karaoke version of it. Isn't there a little bit of Brandy in Joni via Cactus Tree and The Dawntreader? I know Joni started with the folk movement with its earnest lyrics but she appreciates humor too. She sang Boney Maroni and has that Saturday Night Fish Fry song on her music that matters CD. She's just been so serious lately. Joni said one time she dosen't want to be known as the Dorothy Parker or Truman Capote of her generation, and I know she wants to be nice, but its fun to see a little of her bitchiness seap out once in a while. btw they play the Black Keys all the time around here. I haven't seen them yet but the Counting Crows are coming next week and I think I'm going. Brandy is one of my go-to karaoke songs, good story and an awesome bridge. Pure, perfect pop. One of the first vinyls I picked up was Seals & Crofts Greatest Hits and I wore it out. I haven't seen the Tavis interview yet, I'm assuming this quote came from that?
