Other than these, this is definitely her first. And let's not even mention all the single-disc compilations she put out in the last decade or so. At least he does say that she needs to open the vaults and give us stuff we don't already have. Like the article says, several bands (Phish, Pearl Jam, moe to name a few) have made their live shows available for purchase for a long time now, in some cases immediately after the show. Having said that, I think this will be a successful venture, even though fans have been trading Springsteen shows forever. I have so many I don't want any more. However, I would be interested in the pre-1973 (Steel Mill) stuff they're talking about. Bob NP: Lenny Kravitz, "She's A Beast" (Poor Lenny, he puts out a fantastic record this year and no one seems to even notice) From: jlhommedieu@insight.rr.com To: "joni@smoe.org" , Date: 11/18/2014 07:09 PM Subject: live springsteen on many formats njc Sent by: owner-joni@smoe.org http://tinyurl.com/n5r5cms RS says that every album is available in high rez and several live shows too. At first I was psyched about getting some great titles but a split second later I remembered that none of it was carefully recorded. (Okay, the stuff on Anthology is the exception that proves the rule.) The previous box sets are not compilations but original albums and the previous compilations are not multi-disc. :)) moni k. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 19 Nov 2014 14:22:50 +0000 From: Anita Gabrielle Subject: Re: Seattle Times review and interesting comment Damn, that is so smart. My dear Belgian Mother paid more attention to the meticulous detail and meaning of written English than any English (or North American) person I have ever known. Today, Moni, you remind me of her!
