Could this be the Joni Fest of the Decade? Steph hasn't yet said no to a transatlantic trip.......I'm working on it :-)). While I am at it, following on from our last trip to see the Mutts play Hejira and having such a ball playing on Dave and Robin's porch the Monday after the gig, I would like to tell my JMDL friends that I have started a new band. See what can happen when you to Joni Fests? A four piece all women (three vocals, ukelele, guitar and bass) band we started by playing Be Good Tanya covers. We named ourselves the The Be Bad Sharons. We now have our first gig for charity being organised by a bunch of lovely sixteen and seventeen year olds, so we changed our name to Favourite Aunties. We stepped into adulthood to not look like we're trying to get down with kids..... Between us here on JMDL, I may be a Favourite Aunty to the world, but in my heart I shall remain a Bad Sharon!
