I have not hear Emily Remlers name in ages. She was an old friend and is sorely missed in New Orleans. One of the great Jazz Guitarists!!! I saw her play with Larry Carlton once at NOJHF and they both player acoustic. Besides the fact that they had a horrible sound man it was still an amazing set. David. What cuts are you refering to her for Emily's?? best Paz On Sep 19, 2014, at 2:18 PM, David Gizara wrote: Yeah boy, some great CDs out right now. BTW Bob theres a cover of Woodstock out I heard performed at Sisters Folk Fest the other week by Heather Maloney & Darlingside, its funny, the recording has nowhere near the power they put into it live but if u get a chance to see them 2gether live, do it. Also there is a great new piano trio CD from the Toby KKoenigsberg Triio called Drift with 3 Elliott Smith covers that is wonderful, last night I played them with 3 more from the Laura CD with Emily Remler cuts and stuff from Coltranes first album he led in 57 or 58.
