Since I never got to see her live, I'd make the investment but instead will be honoring her all night at Yoshi's in San Francisco! : ) $1,246 is a lot of money. It's going to be a "Tribute Concert" for Wayne Shorter (one of my idols - most def in the top 10) and these events are not generally super fantastic, musically speaking, even with that incredible line-up. Tickets are still available as I just checked. It'd be worth it in case Joni performs, which, is a possibility.
