Long ago, someone asked Pete Townsendt what was his earliest memory of sound?

He said it was sitting in a small motorboat. As the waves alternately covered and uncovered the propeller, it said
>woah, woah, woah
>wow, woah, woah
>wa, wa, woah, woah
>woah, woah, woah
>wow, woah, woah
>wa, wa, woah, woah
>woah, woah, woah
>wow, woah, woah
>wa, wa, woah, woah...

He was mesmerized, transfixed, paralyzed by the sound.
