I don't mean to be crabby about the NJC thing, and I've certainly broken that rule a few times, but I try to remember that there are listers who've never attended a Jonifest or a JMDL "meet and greet" and who therefore may not want to read about those particular events. (It reminds me of how cognizant I try to be about American centrism when posting in forums like Facebook or the JMDL that are international in nature. In fact, it was someone pointing out American centrism on the JMDL many dim years ago that caused me to be more mindful about that sort of thing.) With *that* said, I agree with everyone who has pointed out that the "Joni people" are the best! My life is so much richer, first of all due to joining this list, but more than anything due to getting to meet so many JMDLers in person. Joni's music may have planted the seed that grew and bloomed and attracted so many of us like bees to a flower, but we've since made our own "hive" and it's a fine one.
