Since she produced her albums, I would suspect she had a big hand in keeping things moving along in positive directions for the music. I love that a microphone, #8, was reserved for her vocals. Well, The Voice, Australia has posted their own clip of Celia Pavey performing Woodstock. Celia is only 19 and has the potential to bring about a folk revival in this country. She has open the ears and minds of Australians to the beauty and purity of a good, clean folk song. Her voice is incredible and her love for the genre, comes through. This is an absolute tribute to Joni's work. If you purchase a song on iTunes, it counts as two votes. It reached the top 10 on iTunes. Sarah McKenzie does a great jazzy BYT. Killer voice and piano. I've listened to this track 3 times this week. I tried to google Chiara Minaldi, and can't find much on her. Not sure if she's Spanish or Italian, but she has a great voice. I love her accent when she sings "Reeeeever" :) The Finnish Anki Linduist, and the Czech Marsys were killer too, but I love the non English Joni songs. I'd have to say my favorite was Jeremy Hopkins from CT (Hi Patti). He has the purest and clear voice on "Sunday, Sunday", and such a soft guitar, I just could listen to this man sing anything.
