What a guy! I have to say I was allowing myself to rock out to Lead Balloon, too :~)) The last few days I have really got in to the overall sound of the VG8 on the album that Mark refers to - the beginning, with 'Harlem in Havana' starts just brilliantly. It's so sleazy. The end with the instrumental mix of the title track I remember fondly at Ruby Lake last year. It was playing as we got up to outdoor auditorium to watch PWWAM when, like Bob those years ago, we got to hang out with Joni for the evening. Yes, it has a unique style, like so many of Joni's albums. And Oddmund, I did catch you saying, "my life looks quite different now compared to that winter. but I could use some comfort now, too. as the great Mary Gauthier put it "we could all need a little mercy, now." I am so pleased that your Life feels better than back then, and I can hear it's not easy for you right now. I am happy in sending my love, a warm blanket and hoping you're managing whatever rocks Life is throwing at you at the moment.
