Ogre does Joni!?!?! Skinny Puppy was my obsession from ages 16-19 or so. They were my favorite band and I still listen to them all the time. IMO they were the grandaddies of Industrial and were ripped off by everyone from Ministry to Reznor to Marilyn Manson. Long story, but I discovered their 1st 2 albums by accident and they were so... Abrasive and aurally offensive and spooky and danceable and nothing at all that my Depeche Mode ears were used to. And their videos were creepy as all hell. After about their 7th album, I sort of lost interest because the drugs and the influence of Al Jourgensen (I'm spelling that wrong) made everything a mess, but man oh man, the SP heyday was amazing. LOL I don't think anyone here would like them, but if you do want to get out some aggression, "The Choke", "Assimilate" and "Addiction" are great for that. And the video for "Stairs and Flowers" gives me the creeps still. Happy Sunday!
