I doubt that these exercises will go away - they're fun and encourage 
participation, and once in a while a deeper discussion will come from it. 
I know we've done this color thing several times...the thing is is that 
NOW Les has built such a powerful website all you have to do is use his 
lyrics search engine to find them (like Moni did with the eggs).

As a painter, I'm sure that Joni's use of color in her "painting of words" 
is much more utilized than most songwriters. You could probably find a 
specific color or an allusion to color in almost all of her songs I would 
think.
