We are now done and doing final proof reading. Some, like Let the Wind Carry Me, are monsters, and we have written out all vocal and woodwind parts as well as piano. The published songbooks for this album are laughably incorrect and we took on the job of presenting the correct unabridged scores for this lovely album. Part of the motivation came from the fact that the Mutts are to perform the whole of FTR on April 6th in San Diego (wanna come? - you really should!) and intend to do it right. > > A couple of piano pieces from Blue and LOTC remain to be charted but as far as the 70s albums are concerned we're close to having the project wrapped up. The published version of Paprika Plains is very good so we'll probably leave that one. As we complete them I upload them to the piano transcription database so put your 2.5x reading glasses on, remember which clef is which, be prepared to count odd meter bars and dive in to the wonderful piano pieces Joni wrote.> > Dave ------------------------------ End of JMDL Digest V2013 #204 ***************************** ------- To post messages to the list, sendtojoni@smoe.org.
