I had ordered Neil Young's "Live at the Cellar Door" and can't wait for the time travel of music to bring back what we once heard. Stephen Stills released an album "Just Roll Tape" - of early-CSN songs which certainly highlight the evolution of those songs. Sony has just spun out a limited edition of early 1962-63 Dylan tapes. She does guard her past very closely. I wonder if others will carry on that in the future. As for me, I noted in Neil Young's "Waging Heavy Peace" that he has an unreleased tape of a tipsy Joni Mitchell singing "Raised on Robbery" which he described as being a very sexy version - and that she won't allow the release. If Neil subscribes to this, I would say to him that I would pay to listen to that tape. It will be just between us. And perhaps a few JMDLers. Best wishes for 2014 to all.
