I did stop at the store and after purchasing the uncut magazine issue featuring Joni I learned where her house was. Well, he said it was 'the castle' on Lookout Mountain but I've since learned that her house burnt to the ground. I'd not heard that before so I wasn't sure. There is some construction taking place there. My friends, of course, thought I was being stalky and made fun of me for my interest. Why am I plagued with non-Joni loving friends. Le sigh. Kind of ruined it really. On another note, we visited Watts Towers yesterday and learned that the young Charles Mingus was one of the tower creator's helpers. There's a Mingus and music teaching area just next door. The place is brilliant for engendering an artistic nature. I wondered if Joni knew of it.
