Wish you would have been here she was a little put out on what she was getting out of the monitors. The few songs she did on the Fender were amazing and done well. I'm hoping she starts breaking out to a electric sound. First time I saw her was SXSW a few years back and she's been pretty prolific for being only 23(?) She's quite shy and hard to approach. Lucky enough to see her last year in a pretty intimate place and approached her after the set where there were a few people congregating yet know one had started up a conversation with her except the old guy but she was obviously not having it after a pretty bad (from a mixing standpoint) set. She did politely banter for a couple of minutes but it was like pulling teeth. I was pleasantly surprised that she did talk during her tunings Wednesday but mostly to read from a pamphlet on the uses of Hemp. I have seen her several times. She undertook a tour of our Ancient cathedrals which was particularly brilliant. Very cool you're setting up her guitars. My fourteen year old niece started playing and writing as a result of Laura Marling, bit like I did through hearing Joni. She will be very impressed!
