(!) I don't agree with that though. I hope we can make magazines that hold more than 10 rounds illegal. I am in favor of universal background checks but I don't think that will help much; I mean who decides who is on the no-buy list? We can continue to keep guns away felons, but there were no felons at Sandy Hook or Columbine. I've heard some say that guns don't kill people- that the real problem is keeping guns away from the mentally I'll. But no one wants to discuss making a national list of mentally ill people! When people ask me about the 2nd amendment, I say this: the 2nd amendment was written at a time when a musket loader was a state of the art weapon. I fully support everyone's right to carry a musket loader. But the Public is entitled to be protected from killing machines like rocket propelled grenades, semi automatic weapons, and magazines that hold more than ten rounds. My two cents.
