Long story short he says "wow meeting Jimmy Buffett and then Joni Mitchell walks in...Joni Mitchell!!!! Joni Mitchell you can't get better than that. A close approximation of what he said. And he sang a riff of paved paradise. It was great to hear an excited Joni reference and more so because it was sports radio. The place you would least expect it. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-onlyjoni-digest@smoe.org [mailto:owner-onlyjoni-digest@smoe.org] Sent: Thursday, September 26, 2013 12:00 AM To: onlyjoni-digest@smoe.org Subject: onlyJMDL Digest V2013 #366 onlyJMDL Digest Thursday, September 26 2013 Volume 2013 : Number 366 ========== TOPICS and authors in this Digest: - -------- McGee's General Store [Shari Eaton ] Re: JMDL Digest V2013 #1332 [Laurie Antonioli ] - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed, 25 Sep 2013 17:41:59 -0700 From: Shari Eaton Subject: McGee's General Store I'm suddenly interested in Joni's dad's store but am assuming its a dead end subject. Thanks for your input!! Laurie Antonioli Hi Laurie! I like this DVD the best: Joni Mitchell - Woman of Heart and Mind: A Life Story (2003) People have said that Joni is writing memoirs so I'm waiting for that, but this DVD is the closest thing to an autobiography so far to my knowledge. I have this book: Joni Mitchell: Shadows and Light Paperback by Karen O'Brien I haven't been able to plow through it. I don't like her style of writing.
