Dear Joniphiles, Tomorrow will begin the 8 week countdown till the one and only Robin Adler and Mutts of the Planet present Hejira live, in all its wordy swirly majesty. The concert is at 8pm on Saturday Nov 9th at Dizzy's in San Diego California http://dizzysjazz.com/ and as it only seats about 100, advance tickets are highly recommended. For advance tickets go to http://www.robinadler.com/calendar.html (second item down) This is a one off show and will feature some special guests including Grammy winner Jamie Kime on lead guitar (Zappa Plays Zappa, Michelle Branch etc) and the wonderful Kevin Hennessy on bass, flying in from Columbia Missouri for the show. And did I mention that the music is quite good? Some old 70s songs by a Canadian singer whom some of you know; she has lots of potential, if she decides to stick with it. Could go places. Furthermore, we have arranged block rate accommodation next door to the venue where there will be an after show party and at which all the green M&Ms removed from our dressing room refreshments under contract will be served, as well as priceless photo ops with the band.
