Since I'm getting ready to record an album of her songs it WOULD be lovely to include something of hers that has not been released. If she put it in her publishing company, then it's available for anyone to use (all my original material, for instance, is there for the taking if someone wants it and I get paid and do get paid for versions other people record.) So, the thing to do is see if she bothered to properly put these in her publishing house. If so, then she at least has validated the songs and they can be recorded by other artists. I'll check out some of the things on YouTube. In the meantime, I thought I'd give you a taste of one song we did at our very first "Joni" concert. "Marcie" - with a jazz flavor. It's "live" and is not intended for "release" per se, but we will be putting this one on the record. It was our first "spin" doing this song and I just love the lyrics and provocative story. Matt Clark, the pianist in my band, did the arrangement. It's not "perfect" but, I'm willing to share, nonetheless.......
