It's been removed by YouTube. Below is the notes setting up the video scene, so if you get a copy of the video, look for this: Roger McGuinn, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Allen Ginsberg, Bob Dylan and others are singing "Knocking on Heaven's Door". Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter is being interviewed by reporters. Joni briefly appears and can be heard saying /"Yeah/." I also seem to recall another portion of the film, or maybe it was a film on the making of the film, where she briefly can be seen in a building with a lot of people milling around inside......not sure if I have these details correct. Here is what he could find on this topic: "If the question is is Joni in the original full-length Renaldo & Clara, I believe the answer is yes. I don't personally recall, but she is listed in the cast (as "herself") in the Wikipedia entry for the film. The Wikipedia song listing for the movie doesn't attribute any musical performances to Joni. I've never seen the unedited version of the film so I don't know who or what was cut from that edition. All the original elements for the film are in Jeff Rosen's (Dylan's manager's) possession. The VP at Sony knew absolutely nothing about Art Nouveau. Sorry!" So it's safe to say that the uncut version of renaldo and clara does exist with Joni content, but whether it surfaces in the near future is anyone's guess. I would also like to hear a version of Joni's early song Jeremy, but I guess I'll have to wait for that, too!
