Great music, great voice and great songs - the best album I've heard this year - she has a fantastic set of musicians behind her. Although it's a broad brush summation, to me her music is a combo of Joni, Rickie Lee Jones and Joan Baez perhaps ;-) BTW - the album cost me #2.25 inc. postage ! Cheers once again. Sparkly seas of the integral D sound like mud flats when in B. And I can't imagine lowering the Bb bottom string of Black Crow without having a washing line as a string. I have played Black Crow up a couple of tones but it doesn't sound as dirty to my ears. I am not a music reader, only have very basic knowledge, so it is only how I feel about it. One thing I do know for sure is that Mr Blackburn playing Joni songs brilliantly in standard with the fab Robin Adler on vocals is always miraculous!
